This part one of the February 2026 Nevada County Master Gardeners Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop. The workshop/demonstration was held at the Demonstration Garden, NID Grounds, Grass Valley, California.
Part one was designed as a lecture and part two was held in the Master Gardener’s onsite orchard with actual pruning demonstrations.
The workshop was led by Kevin Marini, former UC Davis Extension Service Farm Advisor and current Master Gardener/Composter Community Education Specialist. Kevin is currently self employed as an arborist specializing in fruit tree orchards.
