Adarsh Sinha is an honest IAS officer from a powerful legal and political family in Delhi. His mother Suhasini is a famous lawyer, his father and elder brother Jaidev are high-ranking officers, and his younger brother Abhay is an IPS officer. Adarsh meets Swadheenta, a smart young lawyer from Chennai, and falls in love with her. She lives with her uncle, aunt, and cousin Asad in Chandni Chowk. Swadheenta takes on a legal case against Ahuja Constructions (owned by Abhay’s corrupt father-in-law), wins the case, and starts working with Suhasini. Over time, Adarsh and Swadheenta grow closer. Although she is engaged to another man named Jeevan, Adarsh manages to win over her family. Just before his arranged engagement to another girl, Swadheenta confesses her love, and the two finally get engaged.

As their wedding preparations begin, Asad and Abhay discover a terrorist plot to bomb the wedding. While trying to stop the attack, Abhay is killed, and Asad is wrongly blamed and shot as a terrorist. The Gilani family is accused, and Swadheenta ends up fighting to prove her brother’s innocence, even going against her in-laws. Adarsh supports her and discovers that his father, brother, and a senior minister helped cover up the truth. When Suhasini learns this, she switches sides to support Swadheenta. In the end, the real terrorist is found and killed, and the truth is revealed. The Gilani family is proven innocent, the wrongdoers are investigated, and peace is restored between both families. Swadheenta returns to her in-laws, and justice wins.
