I was asked to share this information by a Roman Catholic that I was speaking with yesterday because they acknowledged that they didn't understand the gospel and thought this would be helpful to other Roman Catholics.

Now keep in mind that when I was a Roman Catholic I didn't understand the gospel either. So it's not uncommon and this becomes obvious when you speak with Roman Catholics.

Do you want to go to heaven?

Do you want to be saved?

If you do, then put your hand on your heart right now and say after me "Heavenly father in the name of Jesus Christ, I come to you with a grateful heart, thank you for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross for my sins, I repent of my sins, I ask you to forgive me, I confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe in my heart that you raised him from the dead. Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins and surrender my life to you. Wash me clean. Come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior and from this day forward I will be a new creation and will serve you. Amen."
