Masala kadle | Masala peanut
Ingredients:
Peanut- 1 kg
Salt-2 tbsp
Chilli powder-2 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1 tbsp
Garlic-10
Curry leaves
Besan powder-4 tbsp
Rice flour-2 tbsp
Corn flour-2 tbsp
Garam masala(optional)
Preparation:
Take a bowl, add peanut and soak it for five minutes in water.
Drain it and make sure that peanut is moistured completely.
Now add salt per taste, 2 tbsp of Chilli powder, 1 tbsp of turmeric powder and you can add garam masala.
Add besan powder, rice flour and corn flour in the ratio 2:1:1 accordingly and mix well.
You can skip corn flour.
Mix in such a way that the peanuts are covered with the flour.
Do not add water as the peanut has moisture in it.
If in case the flours doesn't get mixed well then you can sprinkle some water.
Heat the oil and deep fry the peanut.
Add mashed Garlic and chopped curry leaves at the end and then remove the fried peanuts.
Transfer it to the container and then spread it in a paper to remove excess oil.
Store it in an air tight container.
Note:
You can ginger garlic paste, Pinch of hing while mixing the flour.
You can add Kashmiri chilli powder for better colour.
You can also add food colour.
