In this video, I’m sharing a look back at December, my holiday art practice, and reflecting on 2025 as an artist.

Over the holidays, I spent time experimenting with new materials — combining embroidery and hand-stitching with painting, and researching textiles, clothing, and mixed media. I’m excited to keep exploring this direction, and I’ll be starting a sewing class at Hamilton Craft Studios this month 🪡✨

I also had artwork published in Suboart Magazine, which was so exciting to see in print 📖🖤

I visited the Swarm group exhibition at Hamilton Artists Inc., and I’m sharing a small sneak peek. The show runs until January 17, so there’s still time to check it out if you’re local to Hamilton, Ontario.

Finally, I reflect on 2025 — a year I’m incredibly grateful for. After a long break from showing work publicly, I exhibited in over a dozen art shows, marking a big creative turning point.

Here’s to continued experimentation, growth, and new beginnings in 2026 ✨
