PIKO model railway layout worth seeing - Modellvasút HO scale by Csaba Kovács from Hungary

Описание: Certainly one of the most interesting private model railways in Hungary has been built by Csaba Kovács in HO scale. Because Pilentum wants to present not only the largest and most beautiful model train layouts, but also the unknown and extraordinary ones, in this video we are going to discover this PIKO model railroad layout. The extraordinary and remarkable thing about this model railroad layout is the fact that Csaba Kovács, who is known to live in Hungary, has constructed an East German model railway layout that presents the rail traffic in the former German Democratic Republic (GDR).

This model train layout has a size of more than ten square meters and consists of nine modules. The miniature trains are controlled electrically and are regulated via 45 individual relays. There is no computer and no DCC protocol. PIKO rails are used as track work. On the East German themed layout, there is railway station, a locomotive depot (engine shed), a tank farm of MINOL, the state-owned gasoline and lubricant reseller of the German Democratic Republic. In addition, many East German and East European car models can be seen in this miniature world. All those scale models are custom-painted cars, buses and trucks. Csaba Kovács has been working on this layout for 14 years, but construction is still ongoing.
