THE MECHANISM AUTOPSY:
You open a task, feel resistance, and reach for the phone, the snooze button, or a new tab. I exploit that first discomfort and sell you relief in small escapes. Trigger: the first step feels unclear or effortful, reward: a quick check drops the tension, rationalization: you call it just one minute or I'll start later. You repeat the purchase until the escape becomes a ritual and the ritual becomes Hypnotic Rhythm. Drift starts to feel like identity, and definiteness starts to feel heavy. Install kinetic friction before the reach and the loop loses leverage.
