In this video, you will be exploring the Columbus, Georgia National Civil War Naval Museum. We will start our adventure beside the Chattahoochee River banks with a look at historic cannon's. Then we will be exploring inside this unique museum at the many displays and authentic relics, which include the remains of local shipwrecks, the CSS Chattahoochee and the massive CSS Jackson. There are even artifacts from the CSS Georgia. We walk-through full-size reproductions of the USS Hartford and the CSS Albemarle. So welcome aboard and as Admiral David Farragut would say, "Damn the torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead!"
Note: After uploading my presentation, I realized that the title for David Farragut had an incorrect "o" where the second "a" supposed to be...Ooops!
Music used from the YouTube Audio Library:
Bach Cello Suite No. 1, G Major Prelude - Cooper Cannell
Back To the Future - Ofshane
Snake on the Beach - Nico Staf
I use my iPhone 14 Pro Max to film my videos, use the Wondershare Filmora 11 editing program to create my adventures and use the fifine K678 microphone to do my voiceovers.
I want to thank the courteous staff at the Columbus, Georgia National Naval Museum, especially the historian Ian Poole. His insights that he provided me were greatly appreciated!
