Описание: "My name is Regina. I just want to talk about my experience with Mid Pen[insula Housing]. I live in the apartments in Chinatown. I recently got out of jail after getting my apartment.

I had to do a violation and it was to my understanding when I reached out to the manager, Andrew Palasios, that I was going to be able to make payment plans on my past rent.

It was yesterday that my case manager was harassing me, telling me that if I didn't have $3,096 that I was going to have to leave the premises.

She didn't know that I volunteered with Rita Acosta from the Homeless Coalition.

I called the sheriff's department at 8:00. They said there was no active eviction on file for my address and there was no sheriff scheduled to come out to escort me out.

This past week I had to borrow money from my sister and I got in storage and I sold some of my personal belongings that were gifts to me to get money in my pocket.

I threw I gave away all my groceries and stuff so it wouldn't go bad. Now my apartment's completely empty, but there's not a valid eviction.

I applied I contacted the pilot program with the city and I got an appointment. I emailed the people from MidPen that district administrator or something like that and I left them a message.

Why are they harassing me and lying to me and accepting my rent?

Before I went to jail, my rent was paid for August to September, but there was an eviction notice on my door for September. I didn't understand.

Now I'm waiting for my job that I applied for for IHSS worker.

I don't know if I'm still going to get evicted, but I just wanted the city to know that I'm not the first person that this happened to.

There's a lot of people that worked really hard to get off the streets and they had their apartments and they were really happy and they fell on hard times and now they're back on the street."
