A pound of butter story.
A baker purchased a pound of butter from a farmer. The baker decided to weigh the butter one day to make sure he was getting the correct amount, which he wasn't. He sued the farmer to court, enraged by this.
The judge inquired if the farmer weighed the butter with any kind of scale. "Honor, I am primitive," the farmer said. I don't have a scale, but I do have a suitable measure."
"How do you weigh the butter?" the judge inquired.
The farmer responded, "
"Your Honor, I've been buying a pound loaf of bread from the baker since long before he started buying butter from me. When the baker comes the bread, I weigh it and give him the same amount of butter every day. It's the baker's fault if anyone is to blame."
The moral of the story is that you get what you give in life. Do not try to deceive others.
