Well what can I say!!! After a failed attempt at the R68 (N) Train, the NYC Subway Tracking Discord gave me a notification that an R62 from the (3) Line was loaned to the (6) {6} Line and the best part is that this train went Pelham Express. I’m gonna be honest with everyone here, I am so glad I caught this opportunity and one of these days, I hope I can get with this model in AM Rush/Morning Hours, but that remains to be seen whether it will happen another day. But this was certainly a big surprise because this has never happened before. R62s have run on Lexington Av before, but only on the (4) Line up until 2009 when all R62 cars were moved to the (3) Line. Since there was a shortage in R62A cars from Westchester Yard, the (6) desperately needed a loan and there was an R62 that came from the wash and the interesting thing about it is that the crews on this line primarily operate the R62A cars and the 62s have very similar controls. So yeah, I am really glad that my attempt on the (N) Train failed on this day and that I was able to present something special like this to you guys.
