In this guitar lesson I teach you my arrangement of Autumn Leaves. I have always loved this song and it was fun to arrange for the guitar. The music was composed by Joseph Kosma with English words added by Johnny Mercer.
In the arrangement I tried to give the impression of a small jazz combo at times. For example, it opens with the melody and the accompaniment was meant to mimic a small group playing the chordal accents. Later on I have the melody accompanied by a walking bass line.
