Happy Chinese New Year! 🏮🐎🏮 This song is a special one, as I've arranged this song for KoopaKungFu (   / koopakungfu  ) since I first started editing for that channel years and years ago. I decided to keep this conversion closer to the original by using the theremin and beta horn sounds for the intro, but I switched to more traditional sounding instruments for the melody to provide a little variety in sound and tone. Still got a noise channel for the percussion like the original, though! This piece would work in various exteriors throughout the game, like Angry Aztec.

Info on Song Conversion:
Songs in DK64 are in a format called MIDI, and I use a program, FL Studio, to compose music in this format. However, converting songs from a game to DK64 is not just a simple swap; songs must be arranged for DK64's particular soundfont, which is a limited selection of instruments used for that specific game. Thus, alterations are made during the conversion/arranging process to make what plays in DK64 sound similar to the original song. Once I'm finished making the music, I use a few other programs to insert the song into the DK64 Randomizer ROM, then I record what plays in-game, which is what you hear in this video!
