Wrapping a canvas with watercolor paper allows you to paint directly on the paper after wrapping it on the canvas rather than painting on the canvas without having prep the canvas with a watercolor ground. This way the paper will react just like it normally does when you paint on it.
Once you have completed your painting on the wrapped canvas, you will want to apply wax to the paper to preserve permanently making your painting archival.
My passion is all things watercolors, but I also use acrylic paints, and alcohol inks. I will be sharing special tips, techniques, and ideas, on the mediums I use. I will be happy to answer your questions and comments if you will leave them in the Comment section after the video.
