Описание: On 16 May 1993, ITN’s Kevin Dunn observed soldiers of the Army of Yugoslavia (VJ) undergoing combat training in Belgrade, the capital of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Since Bosnia and Herzegovina's declaration of independence from Yugoslavia in March 1992, Yugoslav federal forces had been supporting Bosnian Serbs in seizing ethnic Serb territory inside Bosnia. By May 1993, the Bosnian War had seen widespread inter-ethnic violence, with Bosnian Serb forces killing tens of thousands of Bosniaks (Bosnian Muslims) and Bosnian Croats, razing hundreds of villages, and forcibly resettling more than one million people. Successive international peace efforts had failed to stop the fighting, which would not end until November 1995, with the signing of the Dayton Accords.
