Late Winter Bluegill and Sunfish - Cold Water Fishing for Panfish

I'm out doing some late winter fishing for bluegill and sunfish. Cold water can make catching panfish difficult. By moving around and fishing the warmer shallow water I am able to catch three different species, bluegill, long ear sunfish, and a red ear sunfish (shell cracker). I am using red worms on a small drop rig. I am fishing that on a Daiwa Sweepfire rod and an Okuma Saphina spinning reel with 6 lb test mono. If you have cold open water this winter, and you are desperate to catch a few fish, try for some bluegills and sunfish.
