"A THOUSAND YEARS" is a story about two lovers deciding they have nothing left in this world anymore and committing assisted suicide together in hopes of a better existence in the afterlife, however, what's not taken into account is that the afterlife is quite literally infinite, and thus, it takes them thousands of years to find one another. It is revealed that the significant other has long since forgot about them due to the amount of time that has passed, while being constantly on the speaker's mind, and thus they are the ones that did not forget—but that's all they did, for thousands of years, they've forgotten everything else
