Revenue for the quarter fell 2.7% to $2.48 billion, and came in short of consensus estimates of $2.62 billion.

Textron forecasts adjusted EPS for the year of $0.70 - $0.75, including a projected tax-related benefit of around 8 cents a share in the fourth quarter.

Analysts, on average, were expecting FY EPS of $0.46.
