Описание: Why was Kate Middleton's wedding tiara smaller and not as luxurious as other royal brides' tiaras? Kate Middleton entered Westminster Abbey as a "commoner", which is why she chose to travel there by car rather than carriage. Perhaps the use of a smaller, somewhat less conspicuous tiara was a reasonable compromise for someone joining the royal family. For example, Sarah Ferguson at her wedding decided to enter the church wearing a floral wreath to symbolise her 'simple' origins, and left the church wearing a tiara as the Duchess of York. Well, or the reason is that Kate had no experience of wearing massive jewellery on her head, so she chose a smaller tiara so she wouldn't have to worry about balancing it on her head.
