Описание: In this video, we share a role play skills practice session from our training at Trauma Release and Wellness Centre, where I am orienting a pretend couple therapy client to trauma-informed therapy.

This role play is not a model of how therapy should be done with all clients, nor is it a replacement for clinical supervision or personal style development. It is simply a pretend scenario created to help therapists understand how to structure the orientation phase in trauma-informed therapy.

This is one small part of my overall orientation process with clients. Each trauma-informed orientation will look different depending on the client’s needs, context, and the therapist’s approach.
