Ingredients
3–4 medium sweet potatoes, scrubbed clean and halved lengthwise
2–3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
butter (for topping, optional)
Optional garnish: drizzle of honey or sprinkle of brown sugar
Season to your taste

Directions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and grease with olive oil. Scrub sweet potatoes well, then pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Cut each sweet potato in half lengthwise. And add olive oil onto the sweet potatoes.
In a small bowl, mix salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cinnamon, Rub the seasoning mixture all over the sweet potatoes, making sure the cut sides are well coated.
Place sweet potatoes cut side down on the prepared sheet pan.
Roast for 35–45 minutes, or until the potatoes are fork-tender and the cut sides are golden and caramelized.
Remove from oven, flip cut side up, and if desired, place a small pat of butter on each potato half.
Optional: drizzle with honey or sprinkle with brown sugar for a sweet finish.
Serve warm as the perfect side dish to any meal.
