2022 Lexus NX350 F Sport Review: Sport Infused CUV

Описание: The 2022 Lexus NX 350 F Sport came with a very bright Redline red color. The F Sport black trim complimented the red and made it stand out even more. The front bumper and grille get special designs, as well as some performance upgrades from the base model. Behind the 20” black wheels, the F Sport adds performance dampers which can be adjusted when activating the Sport+ drive mode. The triple beam LED headlights also added to its aggressive front end while illuminating the road.

Opening the door to get into the NX 350 was different from the many press cars I’ve recently tested. The Lexus has a fixed door handle with a button that gets activated when you squeezed to allow the door to open. This made it easy for my younger kid that often struggles with having to pull extremely hard on door handles. I later realized that this makes such a great mechanism for people that have difficulty with certain motor skills.

Once the door was opened, the red and black interior looked incredible. The sporty heated and vented seats were the perfect design to compliment the F Sport option. The newly added 14-inch touchscreen was the exact infotainment that is needed in every Lexus. It propels Lexus to a better experience compared to the previously outdated system that is still offered in many higher Lexus models. My only major complaint was the extremely erratic AC system that had a poor “AUTO” setting that was also difficult to completely turn off.

Under the hood, the 2.4L turbo inline 4-cylinder engine was sending out 275 horsepower to all the wheels in this specific configuration. The engine was plenty of power for red light accelerations as well as highway passing. The turbo was surprising loud for your typical Lexus that usually have a quieter engine. The suspension in Sport+ provided more feedback to the wheel as it stiffened it up a bit more.

I was extremely impressed with the 2022 Lexus NX 350 F Sport. It offered great exterior and interior styling, quality finishes, and sporty feel.
