Описание: WATCH: MarineTraffic website showed the vessel traffic around the Strait of Hormuz and the Gulf on Friday, April 17, 2026, after Iran announced the waterway was open to commercial ships following a ceasefire deal in Lebanon.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said in a post on X that the Strait was open for all commercial vessels for the remainder of a U.S.-brokered 10-day truce between Israeli forces and Iran-backed Hezbollah. A senior Iranian official told Reuters that transit would be through designated lanes Iran deemed safe and would exclude naval vessels.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump said the U.S. military blockade of ships sailing to Iranian ports remained in place until "our transaction with Iran is 100% complete."
