Commissioned by NHSE and hosted by the Health Innovation Network, the National Wound Care Strategy Programme (NWCSP) launched in 2018, focusing on three work streams: Lower Limb Ulcers, Pressure Ulcers and Surgical Wounds.
In 2022, the Health Innovation Network launched the Transforming Wound Care (TWC) programme, a Real-World Evaluation of the implementation of the Lower Limb Recommendations developed by the NWCSP Team under their Lower Limb Workstream. The TWC Programme had eight Test and Evaluation Sites (TES) participating in the programme.
In this video, the Bromley Healthcare TES from the Transforming Wound Care programme share their experiences of implementing the National Wound Care Strategy Programme Lower Limb Recommendations.
