There is one unique weapon amongst thrusting swords called "Antspur Rapier" Which always comes with Rot. There are only two purple weapons among thrusting swords and Antspur is one of them. The chance getting this weapon is high if you go for camps and field bosses, and it sometimes comes with bleed or poison along with the rot.

Just once encountering any boss, use the rot first (will proc fast) then use the starting Katana for the rest of the effects, and make sure to always upgrade the starting Katana and never throw it.

Make sure to run "Attack up when facing poison afflicted enemy +0/1/2). This will give an atk boost of 10%/16%/20% respectively when facing a poison afflicted enemy, and they all stack (should be different numbers), meaning that the total boost is roughly 53%. Once an enemy is poisoned, hit a lot to utilize this, run physical attack+3/4 to boost more. Having Ironeye in the team will help procing poison faster.
