Massive Shelf Cloud in Marion IL. 7-26-2012

Описание: We took this video while Mobile Spotting for storms that rolled through Southern IL. on 7-26-2012. We don't see these all to often in Southern IL. I was a bit surprised. Shelf clouds form as warm, moist air rises along the front edge of a gust front and are associated with severe thunderstorms. These clouds are especially prevalent when the air is very stable near the base of the thunderstorm. There is no audio on this because Youtube would flag the song on the radio as some kind of copyright infringement... I just removed the audio ... it was bad.
