"Thinking back in my mind to a time when I used to be so different..." are the lyrics that begin the title track to my Debut Album - BUTTERFLY - because, like a butterfly I've experienced significant change in my life that has shaped me into who I am today.

I am a beautiful BUTTERFLY! =)

Symbolically the butterfly resonates with me and I identify with it's process of Metamorphosis and Change; the fact that it's Beautiful Yet Flawed,Transformed yet still a Work In Progress. That’s me….Perfectly Imperfect!

So BUTTERFLY naturally is the perfect title for this album.

This project embodies my journey over the past five (5) years and is an expression of many aspects of my life. Some songs reflect my personal highs and lows, while others have been influenced by people that I've met along the way and the impact that their life experiences have had on me as a social worker.

The message resonating through the entire album is one of hope and encouragement, and I pray that everyone who hears it will be uplifted and encouraged to embrace their own 'Butterfly' experience.
