Описание: گهواره دید (گهبانه دید) شیراز، بنایی تاریخی از دوره دیلمیان است که در سمت چپ دروازه قرآن واقع شده و به عنوان یکی از آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده است. معماری این بنا شبیه به بناهای دوره ساسانی است و دارای چهار درگاه در چهار ضلع، به طول و عرض 4 متر و ارتفاع 3 متر است. در گذشته از نشانه هایی مانند تابش نور آیینه، راه انداختن دود، دمیدن در بوق و شیپور و روشن کردن آتش در شب برای ارسال پیام های فوری و مهم به برج های دیگر استفاده می شده است.
این بنای تاریخی، یادگاری از دوران گذشته و نمادی از هوشیاری و درایت ایرانیان در حفظ مرز و بوم خود است.

The Watchtower of Shiraz (also known as Gehvareh Did or Gebaneh Did) is a historical structure from the Daylami period, located to the left of the Quran Gate. It is registered as one of Iran's National Monuments. The architecture of this building resembles that of Sasanian-era structures, featuring four doorways on each side, each measuring 4 meters in length and width and 3 meters in height. The dome of the watchtower stands at 3.5 meters tall.
