Dying the basement 1906

What you will need -

Large container big enough for both trainers
Rit Dye more Synthetic
Salt
Gloves
Mixing stick

Method -

• Remove all laces and insoles
• Dampen the shoes throughly
• Mix up a large container with as close to boiling water as possible
• Shake in a good helping of salt
• Add in the Rit Dye and stir
• Submerge both shoes in the mix, I used a pan with bricks in to keep them from floating around. Submerge them for 30 mins and check on them.
• Check how it’s going and leave them in for 30 minutes more, give them a stir with a stick.
• Remove the shoes and wash through with soapy water. I did about 5 x cycles until the water ran clear
• Air dry for 24h
• Lace up
