kairi cha takku is a very popular Maharashtrian pickle. It is the easiest pickle I have ever made . It is very quick and easy to make yet taste so delicious.
The wide amount of flavours that this pickle has is sure to set your taste buds palpating! The spicy and delicious flavour of raw mango and onion that comes out are enhanced with the addition of apt spice powders. A dash of jaggery balances the tangy and sweet flavours.

◆ Ingredients:-
1 &1/2 cup Raw mango (grated)
1 cup Onion (grated)
1/4 cup Jaggery
2 tbsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt (as per taste)
◆for tadka
1&1/2 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp mustard seeds (rai)
1/2 tsp asafoetida (hing)

◆process:-
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl till the jaggery dissolves completely & Add tadka to it
Chill & server

◆ remember :-
1.to store this pickel in a glass jar (refrigerator)
2.adding onion is optional
{can be store outside ,if no onion is added}
