Abhinandan: One thing you have to admit, there is more feminism in this film depicted in the mediaeval age than in any Rajput royal household now...Filmmakers decided that since we’re filing a piece of fiction, let’s take it to the level of fantasy fiction. Let’s have a Rajput king give lectures on feminism!

Rajyasree: So what does he say? Women should be educated? Women should stand next to me and fight with me?

Abhinandan: In one scene, the Rajput equivalent of a khap panchayat comes and says, ‘How is she sitting on the throne? She will not be approached for justice’. He says, ‘Doesn’t a queen have as much right to the throne as a king?’ And I was like, ‘Sure, sure!’

Rajyasree: (sarcastically) But you know, Akshay Kumar has always come across as a feminist.
