John was bitten by the writing bug in college, when his late and great friend, Greg Menefee, said the words that would forever stick with him: "We should write a movie about our lives." What came next was a screenplay that now remains covered in dust in John's desk drawer.

From that experiment came a passion for the written word. Since then, John has written fiction novels and short stories, but it's nonfiction writing that he has fallen in love with. For over a decade, he has been ghostwriting for a variety of clients. Former NFL players turned businessmen, a business partner of Sam Zell, and a World War II veteran top his long list of projects.

After a decade of working with clients independently, he has found the flaws in the system and devised a new, more efficient process. He founded Visionary Literary with the hope that more people can share their stories and advice, creating a cascading positive effect on society.
