Biden-Netanyahu talks overshadowed by demonstrations in DC streets

Описание: Protests in support of Palestine happened outside of the White House as President Joe Biden met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Thursday. It was the second straight day of demonstrations, the first coming as Netanyahu addressed Congress.

Thousands of mostly peaceful protestors filled the streets during his address Wednesday. When the crowd hit Union Station in Washington, D.C., things took an anti-American and anti-Israeli turn. The American flag burned, a Palestinian flag was raised, and some of the graffiti read “Hamas is coming" as the area was vandalized. A group of House Republicans, including the House Speaker, raised the American flag back up Wednesday night.
