preparing the camera for installing my crystal sync motors. This particular K3 is going to be fitted with my 10-speed motor but the process is the same for the 4-speed Universal Motor and its derivatives.
The camera is not possible to return to spring drive use after the modification. Be careful and remember to run down the spring motor first if attempting this installation. It is possible to accidentally damage the camera during the process as you need to disassemble it almost fully but the results are very rewarding and these cameras are affordable so it is worth the risk. Just replace a broken part if you accidentally break something, no need to worry about it too much.
