1985: Legendary Rocker SALLY BURGERS, out one night on a tequila and quailudes bender with his beloved wife Edna, snuck into the Grauman’s Egyptian Theater on Hollywood Blvd. As Burgers and Edna giggled their way into open seats, they looked up to find the climax of GODZILLA 1985 tearing up the screen.

Edna would later quip that it was like the first time Burgers had seen the Statue of David (please note that Edna and Sally were arrested for climbing on the statue while on tour in ’84). Overall it was an awe inspiring moment for him.

After the movie the pair sucked down 8 Tommy’s Chili Burgers and washed it down with a case of Schlitz. Sally Burgers headed to his home studio where he would record a legendary rock single inspired by GODZILLA 1985. Unfortunately the next day, Burgers forgot he recorded the song and what was destined to become a metal classic unfortunately lay dormant in his desk drawer for 40 years… until today.
