JETSTAR A321Neo JQ517 Economy Class - Sydney to Melbourne, Not My Best Day Travelling (4K)

Описание: Well, what a day of travelling.

Instead of getting driven to the airport, I decided to catch a Bus, Train & another Bus.

As some would know, catching the train to an airport station comes with a $12-$18 surcharge (airport fee) whereas the bus has no extra charges, the main bus is the 420, between Mascot (near the airport) and Burwood (via Rockdale). I got off the train at Rockdale, saw bus 420 at the stand, and just jumped on... 20-30 minutes later it was a "What an idiot" moment... Correct Bus, Incorrect direction.

So I jumped off, and thankfully the 420 bus heading in right direction was just pulling up... That is 1 hour of my life I won't be getting back.

This is on top of the original flight cancellation, as I was meant to fly to Melbourne on JQ62 which left from the International Terminal. Aside from being on a Boeing B787 Dreamliner, I used frequent flyer points for a Business Class seat (not withstanding being able to use the International First Class Lounge).

JQ517 (Economy only) was leaving at a similar time and it was showing as an alternative flight, so I grabbed it... in good time, as before long all flights were full, so no other options for flights today.

Putting aside those dramas, the flight was uneventful, thankfully once out of Sydney the weather improved and arrival into Melbourne was close to being on time.

And now to deal with my next flight that just had an equipment change (I selected it specifically for the aircraft type)...
