UKNA started off 2023 by hosting a discussion with Habib Hajallie, the winner of the 2022 Robert Walters Group UK New Artist of the Year Award.
Habib Hajallie was named the winner of the Robert Walters Group UK New Artist of the Year Award at an awards ceremony held at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery on Thursday 10 November 2022, and he is also a recipient of the Samuel Ross Black British Artist Grant 2022.
In this online talk, Habib shares insights into his creative practice and process, sources of inspiration and top tips on becoming a full-time artist. Habib also talks about his work with UK New Artists, winning the 2022 Robert Walters Group UK New Artist of the Year Award and what it’s meant to him to exhibit at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery.
