Self-proclaimed 'Ex-Muslim' and Islamic reformist Salim Vastik has been brutally attacked by unidentified assailants in the Loni area of Ghaziabad. The incident took place on a Friday (Jumu'ah) during the holy month of Ramadan, shortly after the morning prayers.

According to reports, Salim was stabbed multiple times in the neck, chest, and abdomen. He was rushed to Delhi’s GTB Hospital, where his condition is said to be extremely critical. His associates, Sameer and Ehsan, allege that this was a planned attempt to silence his voice for his reformist views on Islam.
