Infrared Spectroscopy is Analytical Technique used for Analysis of Organic compounds with functional groups. It has two types instruments: Dispersive Spectrometer and FTIR Spectrometer. In this video Schematic diagram of double beam IR spectrometer instrumentation is discussed with animation.

IR spectrometer is used to determine IR or infrared absorption frequencies or vibration frequency of stretching and bending vibrations in IR spectroscopy. The technology is useful for the students of Pharmacy, Analytical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. It is useful for the competitive exams like GPAT, NIPER-JEE, GATE, CSIR NET.
