Treads shoes have been developed as a result of a single dad’s frustration when it came to buying school shoes for his son. A frustrating cycle of how often he had to replace the shoes, sometimes in a matter of weeks. Regularly parting with £50 plus each time and soon realising the shoes were not fit for purpose; even the shoes previous generations had grown up with and learned to trust.
He knew there had to be a better solution and as someone who works in the shoe industry, set about creating the ultimate school shoe that would stand up to the rigours of any school yard. Some 2 years later, and after extensive research and development, Treads Shoes was born.
