Temporary feelings of depersonalization or derealization are more common than many realize. Statistics suggest that half of the population will experience a sense of detachment from themselves or their surroundings at some point. These shifts in perception can be tremendously stressful, and that stress often heightens the intensity of the physical sensations.
During these times, it is essential to remain calm, practice self-compassion, and reach out to trusted support systems. This meditation helps you return awareness to your body and reconnect with your sense of self through harmonious breathing. By practicing daily, you can train your mind to redirect stressful thoughts and allow your body to react with organic stillness.
