Описание: Pablo Escobar, one of the most notorious drug lords in history, built his own private prison called "La Catedral" in 1991 in order to evade authorities who were closing in on him.

The prison was located in the mountains outside of Medellin, Colombia and was built to Escobar's specifications, featuring amenities such as a soccer field, a bar, a jacuzzi, and a waterfall. The prison was guarded by Escobar's own men, who were loyal to him, and he was free to come and go as he pleased.

However, in 1992, after evidence emerged that he was continuing to run his drug empire from inside the prison, the Colombian government decided to transfer him to a regular prison. Escobar refused to be transferred and went into hiding, sparking a all out war against officials
