Errol Barrow Day was a busy one for Leader of the Opposition and Democratic Labour Party political leader Ralph Thorne.
He attended a wreath-laying in St Lucy in honour of National Hero and party founder Errol Barrow and then supported St James South candidate Pedro Greaves at Haynesville.
Thorne lamented the state of the family and village, the church and the school which he said were all in crisis, and were needed to build strong communities and by extension, a strong country.
