Описание: Caught up with Bellemont Farms as first cut silage is in the bag and getting 2nd cut growing again.

Milking 350 cows across 6 Lely Robots and a further 50 being milked in the old parlour. Cows on Bellemont Farm are all AI bred with top line pedigree lines and specifically trained for robot start up farms.

First Cut Silage part 1 was approx. 370 acres going into the first silage with with McConaghy Contract providing the kit

Mowing
New to fleet for 2024 was the addition of a Krone big M 450 #thegrassking working along side the New Holland T7.270 on the B1000 Krone triple mowers.

Tedding
Bellemont Farms very own Massey Ferguson 6718s on the Lely tedder

Raking
New Holland T7.270 and the Krone Swadro 1570 working ahead of the harvester

Harvesting
Claas Jaguar 970 with distinctive Green rear end with a number of New Holland T7s on Kane Half pipe trailers carting back to the Silo

Buckraking
JCB dominates the buckraking department with the JCB 435s & 419s working the pit with the NEW MDE Warrior buck rakes at 12 & 14ft respectively.

Slurry
McConaghy Contracts with 2 outfits working with one setup direct pumping and another being ferried to with the 4000 Gallon Redrock tankers. One setup is a T7.210 New Holland on a 12m Agquip dribble bar, with the BEF Nurse tank. Other setup is a T7.210 New Holland on a 12m Agquip dribble bar on the direct line. Bellemont Farms own Massey Ferguson 6718s on the Redrock Tanker and dribble bar working as well.
