“Truth must come out…,” WB CM Mamata Banerjee on Balasore Triple Train Collision

Описание: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack on June 06. She met the victims of the horrific Balasore Triple Train Collision. After her meeting with the victims, she briefed the media. She expressed gratitude towards the Odisha Government for providing free treatments. On being asked about the case handed over to CBI for investigation, she said that she just wants the truth to come out.
“From here I will go to Bhubaneswar, Kalaikunda and other hospitals. A total of 97 patients from West Bengal are under treatment in Odisha. 103 dead bodies have been identified from Bengal and 31 are missing as per reports. We promised jobs to people who lost their legs/hands. We will also announce jobs for the family members of those who died. Their family will get five lakhs. 1 lakh to the ones who were badly injured. Rupees Ten Thousand will be given to the ones who are in trauma. Rupees Two thousand will be given to them for the next four months. We should work for the people. Help them and be with them. The truth must come out.”
