Trouble shooting non working Harbor Freight Miter Saw

The day before I made this video, my Miter Saw was working. It is a Harbor Freight Central Electric, Model 98199. Next day, pull the trigger and nothing happened. Tried my electrical drill in the same electrical outlet and it worked fine. Looked at the Miter saw brushes and they looked fine. Decided to look at the switch. Did continuity test on the switch and could not get continuity in any way. To confirm, I needed a new switch. I hooked up the large Black wire coming from the motor housing to the common White wire coming from the electrical power cord and then plugged the saw into a switchable power outlet and turned the switchable power outlet on and the saw did work by hot wiring the Black to the common White.
First Ordered a SW38A switch which I found out is not wired for an electrical Brake. I then ordered a SW38C switch and returned the SW38A to Amazon. The SW38C worked fine with minor alterations.
