What a fantastic tune. This is one of the grooviest tunes in all of the Gen 4 soundtrack, and definitely makes my top 5 tunes of the soundtrack. You guys know how much I love Pokémon Diamond & Pearl's music, so me saying that means quite a bit! This route was a great way to kick off the postgame in Diamond and Pearl. If Game Freak had simply chosen to recycle a route theme from a past region, I don't think this route would have the same impact. Also, those claps. THOSE CLAPS. 👏 👏

After my previous experiment with 80's covers in the form of Big Blue, I thought this song would be the next best fit. This song is oddly reminiscent of Van Halen's "Jump", which features some sick synth brass parts. I aimed to incorporate those into this song, along with some influence from "Trains" by the fusion group Steps Ahead, which was led by one of my favorite sax players of all time: Michael Brecker.
