We live in Adelaide, Australia one of the best city in the world and Australia to live and Bangladesh is unfortunately one of the worst country to live where the Dhaka city is one of the worst city to live. However this is my home country and I have many memories on Dhaka and my home district near Dhaka, so we are quite excited to come to Bangladesh from Australia this time. This time we stayed in Bangladesh for a short time and it is like tourism as we did not have much work to do. While living in Bangladesh, I used to travel a lot into different places in Dhaka and my home district, I was quite a traveller at. Now I wanted to get closure to that beautiful memories, so I went to my rural town or mofossol town and to those places of my young age adventures. While touring, I found many amazing foods and places which many may find everyday business, but for me these are gems! While I had the chance to experience the Bangladeshi full size bhapa- pitha or the famous Bangladeshi winter rice cake at home, at the same time I discovered one of the most delicious tea that I have ever experienced in my life, it’s a masala tea. In another occasion, I crossed a bamboo made bridge over a canal. That was quite an adventure as the bridge was very thin – not enough space to put my steps on. It was like sky-walk or rope walk.
In this video, you will also get to know that stories and you will be amazed to know my another me. As Bangladeshi migrants the foremost Australian value we have adopted is perhaps the love for traveling, and why not - Australia is one of the most amazing country for traveling, and in my view the best country to travel. Australia has many unique things to see and experience as tourist or local, which make this country a unique place – like no other countries in the world. As an immigrant in Australia I feel lucky about that and I believe my immigration to Australia is worthy. But no travel compares to the travel to Bangladesh, my home country.
