A showcase of some near-future applications of nuclear power in space.
These designs are all inspired by some real-world concepts that have been or are currently being studied by NASA to send humans to Mars! The nuclear thermal Earth-Moon tug is based on older Constellation-era Mars vehicles, while the nuclear electric deep space transport is based on more modern studies. The Mars surface infrastructure also draws inspiration from some of NASA's recent concepts, including the use of fission surface power, the inflatable heat shield, and the use of a pressurized rover as a descent vehicle and habitat for the crew.
Now in glorious 2K resolution thanks to cutting-edge advances in my ability to use the basic features of DaVinci Resolve.
