FLY FISHING FOR CENTRAL VALLEY STEELHEAD!

Описание: Fly fishing for steelhead on the Feather River in Northern California is one of our favorite things for Brenda and I to do. These steelhead are quite different from coastal steelhead as they run about 2 - 4 lbs typically, but its not uncommon to hook into a fish that can weigh up to ten pounds. The Feather River flows from the dam on Lake Oroville, which is north east of the town of Oroville, and then it converges with the Sacramento River. These brightly color, energetic, steelhead travel almost 200 miles to the Pacific Ocean and then make their journey back to spawn in the Feather River. We highly recommend that you put fly fishing the Feather River for steelhead on your list of great things to do in California.
